Kelsey Bradshaw Blogger Biography

Fall is the perfect season. It is still sunny, yet cool enough (but not freezing) to break out the sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes. Take advantage of the best season (in my opinion, at least) with the following activities.

1. Embrace The Holiday Drinks

Pumpkin spice lattes, salted caramel mochas, apple cider… yum! Maybe it is only because they are only available for three months out of year, but there is something seriously magical about fall beverages. Have a scavenger hunt to find the best fall-flavored latte in town and try out all of your local coffee shops (probably an activity done best not in a single day).

2. Crafts And Decorations

There are a ridiculous amount of crafts that are great decorations, fun to make, and start getting you in the holiday spirit. Although Halloween just ended – which is always fun to decide what costume to be, how to carve your pumpkin, and all of the spooky decorations – there is still Thanksgiving! How creative can you get with turkeys??

3. Enjoy The Fall Scenery

The collage of orange, red, and yellow leaves falling to the ground are gorgeous, and never lasts as long as you think it will! Finding a scenic road to drive, or a tree-lined street to admire and walk down, is one way to (as cheesy as it sounds) enjoy nature’s beauty. This will also help you relax and clear your mind from any current stress.

4. Go To A Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin patches are a fantastic place to find the best pumpkin! Pumpkins aren’t just for Halloween. They are great additions to any Thanksgiving setting, especially for the perfect touch for any visiting family members to see. While you are there, go on a hayride or get lost in a corn maze. And when you find the perfect pumpkin or finally find your way out of the maze? Enjoy a caramel apple and sip some hot apple cider. Perfection!

Enjoy the fall while it lasts! It is getting cold fast and winter is soon approaching! What is your favorite fall activity?
