Eating some fresh and juicy fruit is a great way to cool off in the summer heat. Fruit is a natural and healthy way to take in daily nutrients to reduce the risk of illness. It is also low in fat and calories and a great way to get in shape this summer and do your body some good! Each fruit provides different nutrients to help nourish the body.

Here are some great fruits to have this summer to benefit from and enjoy:

1. Banana

Bananas also are very high in Vitamin A, which increases immunity, healthy skin, and bone growth. 2. Passionfruit

Passionfruit contains 3.78 mg of iron that helps with immunity and strength. Iron helps oxygenate our blood and also digest our food. Passionfruit is also high in Vitamin C, which is an antioxidant to help prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer. Vitamin C helps with healing and repairing body tissue.
