The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and classes are winding down. Do you know what that means? Summer is in the air and on its way. I do not know about you, but I am thrilled. And what is the best way to make sure you squeeze every ounce of fun out of your summer? By creating a summer bucket list! With the help of some imaginative friends, I have compiled this list of summer must do’s for you and all your friends for when school is out. Let the summertime festivities begin!
1. Night Time Scavenger Hunts
Break out the flashlights and get ready to go hunting! Get about 10-15 people together and divide into 2 or 3 groups. Let each team contribute 5 things to the scavenger hunt list, combine, and then go! First team to find everything on the list wins a prize! Way too much fun!
2. Road Trip
Last summer, my group of friends decided that we would take a trip to a new amusement park every summer. It is so much fun and a great way to spend time together. Find something you love, like spending a weekend on a lake, and make it a tradition!
3. Water Wars
Reach deep down for your inner child, buy some water guns, fill up those water balloons, and have fun! It will probably be cheaper than going to a water park and will definitely be just as much fun!
4. Face a Fear
This is the ultimate adrenaline rush. Go sky diving, kayaking, or white water rafting. Or just face a simple fear, like jumping off the high dive. Whatever it is, you will feel incredible knowing that you conquered a fear that you never imagined conquerable. As Nike says, “Just do it!”
5. Night Rides
This is one that I absolutely love! Get some old bikes, skateboards, scooters, or anything with wheels, and then grab some glow in the dark paint. Now spray down your wheels and hit the road whenever the sun goes down! Do not forget to bring a camera with you because this is a memory that you are absolutely going to want to remember!
Make this summer something worth remembering! Write your own bucket list and grab a camera. This is a summer you are never going to want to forget.
